Musical theatre is a combination of dancing, singing and drama where a story is told using all aspects of stagecraft to transport the audience to another time and place. With such famous musicals as Oliver, West Side Story, Hairspray, Mamma Mia, Fame, Grease and Les Miserables to study you’ll be working towards a new performance every six weeks.

Musical theatre classes at TPAI are available for a range of ages from six years to sixteen and for all levels of experience. Classes are split by age: six to nine years, ten to twelve years and thirteen to sixteen years. Students will learn how to express feelings and emotions through the art of musical theatre which is a great medium for learning to work as a team.

Always with students of similar ages you’ll be learning lines each week for the following week’s classes. Musical theatre is a great way to build confidence and make new friends and could be the perfect stepping stone for life as performer.
